Star 80

Postby davetom » Sat Aug 18, 2018 11:35 am

Hello !

Besides a late Aug 14th mention...

On Aug 26 TCM Turner Classic Movie Channel is showing "Star 80" at 1:15 am pst.

I find it interesting that TCM is running this movie since their standard is usually old musicals and dramas etc.

So, in case you have never had a chance to see Star 80 or here is the time to dvr it or tape it for your own use.

I don't know how heavily edited it will be, but last week TCM ran "Mandingo" and it had full frontal nudity male and female, so

maybe things have relaxed in the name of "art".

I hope everyone is having a awesome summer..

I saw that they were playing it, but didn't watch. Fell asleep. And honestly, I wasn't in the mood to see it. I have it on DVD.

TCM does play more recent films, too. The vast majority of the movies they show is from the 1930s to 1970s, but they'll do movies within the last few decades, too. They showed Up In The Air when they did the AFI Lifetime Achievement Award to him.
